The activities of the LNG.Agentur Niedersachsen cover a wide range of topics and tasks. In addition to the development and implementation of information measures and the further development of the LNG network, the focus is initially on the following areas:

Development of a LNG strategy for the North Sea Region with development scenarios for transport modes, logistic processes, energy supply and interfaces in close cooperation with national and North German strategic LNG considerations.

Promotion and coordination of LNG infrastructure development and distribution in the North Sea Region and beyond.

Status: study and workshop in preparation.

Support for the development of novel LNG-based value chains by promoting LNG technology as a climate- and environmentally friendly energy supply and fuel alternative. Consideration of new usage perspectives and business models.

Development of LNG innovation projects by identifying innovation requirements, setting up project consortiums and investigating funding opportunities.
